Managing users

User roles and permissions

In this section we explain the different user roles available on the website builder platform, what each can do and how to add/remove people to each role as needed.

In WordPress, when you invite users to your site you can assign different ‘user roles’ to control what those users can and cannot do on the site.

This following table defines each role and the core functions that each role can access.

Note: there are other user roles and functions on the platform, however the following are the 3 main roles in use and the core permissions for those roles.
