Items list block
The items list block is usually used on a website’s homepage. When added, it automatically populates with the most recent or next ‘items’ based on a date.
The items are your sites ‘custom post types‘. This could be something like news, reports, documents or consultations.
When you add the block you can choose which type of item you want to feature in the block settings panel.
You can choose if you want to show the published date.

Featured item block
This block is also mostly used on a homepage and is a way of choosing a featured ‘item’ to display.
The items are your sites ‘custom post types‘. This could be something like news, reports, documents or consultations.
In the block settings panel, you select the type of item you want to feature and then pick the item you want.
It might be an important document that you want to draw your users’ attention to.
You can choose if you want to show the published date and the small separator bar below the title.
You can also customise link text and add an image.
